Things here are ending soon. I spent all last weekend writing my research paper for English and my book review for history. As a result, I know more about Che Guevara than any pot-smoking hippie on campus! And I know you wont believe it but the papers aren’t even due until next Tuesday. I actually got my essay written before it was due. Of course, that is only because this weekend I am going to be in Las Vegas hanging out on the strip and climbing a mountain.

The mountain we climb is called Mt. Charleston and the path we take is about 30 miles. I am going to be so tired when I get back to San Diego Sunday night. I’m not going to take my digital camera, so if you want to see pictures of my trip you will have to arrange to come and visit me.

I talked to my friends in England and except for the base instigating a curfew nothing else has really changed. I am hoping to hear more from them soon and I will keep you all updated if anything interesting happens.
